Yeah and that's another thing...it should be illegal to sew US flags in foreign countries! A Jones Act for the American ensigns flying from American vessels!

I simply cannot believe any company would allow a flag like the one I saw fly from one of thier vessels! How many years did it have to remain there to look like that?

Of course, where that flag and vessel was at might have something to do with this...but I'll say no more.

There aren't many American manufacturers of flags left. Guess where they all went ...

FWIW, there is supposed to be a law that says the country of origin has to be sewn on a label on the flag. It might be interesting to see where they come from.

I purchased a small flag from Walmart to put on my Dad's grave for Veteran's Day. I made sure it was U.S. made. There would probably be a tectonic shift on the Texas coast if I installed a Chinese made flag!LOL!!

Looks to me as if placement had most all to do with the damage. Those wire ties shredded that puppy. Chafe kills!

There are only two reason for this

    1. OBLIVIOUSNESS

    and/or

    2. LAZINESS

Even CHEAPNESS doesn't count because you could always just take the flag down.

Of course this proves the Theorem of Universal Sloth which is OBLIVIOUS + LAZY = JUST PLAIN STUPID!

Speaking of sloth...my belly is so full of Thanksgiving Supper that I need to take a little nap

    Happy T'Day y'all
