Good for her age: Lucy has the sort of facial features that would be the envy of a woman half her years
She won an army of fans after parading around in skimpy leather armour in Xena: Warrior Princess.
And her horde of supporters will be delighted to discover Lucy Lawless looked as good as ever at a premiere in New York on Thursday.
The evergreen Kiwi looked as fit as ever as she paraded down the red carpet before a screening of her show Spartacus God Of The Damned.
The 44-year-old boasted a figure that would make women half her age jealous in a purple silk number.
And with the show entering its final series, Lucy said she has had a blast playing the villainous Lucretia on the show.
The mother-of-three said: 'It's the challenge of it. Can I make her wickedness completely real and relatable that you can see where she's coming from?
'If she seems like a logical person, then I can make her wickedness your problem and I relish that.
'I aim to make the audience complicit in my crimes by making her as fully real as possible.
'She's not all bad and she's not all good; she's a complete mixture because I believe we all are. It makes me cringe when people call her a villainess because she's not; she's anyone.
She was much in demand among her co-stars when it came time to pose on the red carpet, with both the show's main man Liam McIntyre and Peter Mensah grabbing their chance to pose with the actress.
But of course all eyes were on the glamorous star, who became famous for being a particularly fine filly due to her appearances on the cult 90s show.
And the role helped her become a lesbian icon due to the character's ambiguous, and sometime steamy, relationship with her sidekick Gabrielle.
That reputation became even stronger after she performed a graphic lesbian sex scene in Spartacus: Gods Of The Arena.
After 134 episodes and six season, Xena finally ended in 2001, but Lucy has gone on to star in many more popular TV shows including Battlestar Galactica and Parks And Recreation.
Spartacus: War Of The Damned is the fourth and final season of the gladiator drama and will begin airing in the US on January 25.
