    Default Hazard pay rate in Nigeria

    Does anyone know the going hazard pay being offered for working in piracy areas of Nigeria?

    I am working in Nigeria and the hazard pay is really not being offered. The co. I work for gives a 40% pay on your base salary as foreign service.

    Usually a 10% premium is added on top of your foreign service rate, just for Nigeria, and some clients will match that premium. I'm only speaking for the better drilling companies.
