Equipment comparisons between HOS and ECO?

Anyone with knowledge about both HOS and ECO equipment? Looking for information on the OSV side of things on issues as equipment, maintenance, quality of life while on board. I realize there are differences between pay and benefits etc. etc. but strictly from a new hire officer looking to learn and train would one company out shine the other?

I would say ECO is the way to go in terms of training and advancement. ECO has their own training center, and a large and varied fleet to gain experience on. As far as on board accommodations go... They run the gamut from sub par on the small boats, to good on the bigger boats, all the way to really nice on a few of the specialty boats. As for maintenance, they are top notch.
