Simple question reguarding the MMC..

Does the new MMC (red book) take the place of the old MMD? Meaning do i still need to renew my MMD?

The guys on the boat said it (the mmc) was the new mmd, just trying to get some clarification. I renewed my liscense last November, and nobody said a word about it.

Yes, the MMC (red book) has now taken place of the MMD (Z-Card, White card with green border). That is all you need along with a TWIC.

That's correct the MMC is all you need, well other than your TWIC.
