Does anybody know anything about them possibly hiring or am i just dreaming................

Took a class this fall with a Cal Dive captain. Don't know if they are hiring or not, but he said Cal Dive pays their Masters daily rate based on the license they hold, not the size of the vessel they are running. This person has a 500 T Master license, and when he pulls a hitch on a 100 T vessel, he gets paid the same rate as when he pulls a hitch on a 500 T vessel.

How many other companies do that?

I've been dealing with waylon Brown....fleet operations mngr for over two years and he keeps yanking my chain about hiring me thats why i need to lknow whats going on.
