Do I need A.i.s to go into galviston.I'm in a 185ft vessel?

Every time I have been in there in the last couple of years they were very persistent to make sure your destination and nav status was correct. Most likely if it is required ont he type of vessel you operate. Call Galveston harbor master.

We dont have it on the boat and I think were going to galveston next week. I know vessels under 130 arn't required to have it but I'm 185 so I'll call and ask in the a.m .
