Adventure!?

Hey everybody!
I'm a cadet at TMA, starting to think about next summer and Cadet shipping. I've heard of all the good options, what pays the most, etc. I'm not really interested in doing laps around the Gulf of Mexico for 3 months though. Where could I look for some more adventure? I figure I'll only be young once, and I'd better go get some stories while I'm still invincible

Suggestions? The more extreme/unique the better! I don't mind the cold!
