500t master/ environmental protection questions?

Taking my 500 t masters test soon and one module combines ds/dg/ and environmental protection. I have been studying lapware for the ds/dg questions but as far as I can see, there are no questions from the environmental protection section.

Anyone know where I can find a question bank for these quesions so I can start reviewing them??? Thanks!

One suggestion would be to go to the USCG question database and do a search for key words such as "environment" etc.

hmm just took another look at it, didnt see a search function for the question databse.... All I can do is veiw the question banks in either pdf or excel format.

Download it in either format.

Both of those programs have a "search" or "find" command.

Once downloaded open it up and hit control F "ctrl f" obviously without the "", then type in any keyword you need to find. Hope that helps.

Most of the questions are going to be on pollution prevention.

Also do a search on "whale" there are a few questions we were forced to add that deal with how not to hit northern right whales. As part of the settlement of a lawsuit the Coast Guard agreed to add these questions. NMC tried to resist pointing out that the CFR is clear on what can appear on the test. We were told that the list includes the Coast Pilot, and the information is in there. We countered that the intent was to assess the ability to use the Coast Pilot, not to memorize its contents. That didn't work, so the questions are there. We did code them so only one can appear on any exam module.
