I'm surprised it wasn't announced at a DOD press conference with charts, graphs and a hour long question and answer session attended by media representatives from Joson Inmingun, Al-Jazeera, and Terrorist Weekly. I suppose it could have been worse, it could have come from the White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs. That man comes across as the least intelligent and most annoying person to ever step in front of a camera.
