    Default Eagle Tucson Aground

Just passed by the Eagle Tucson aground at Cubits Gap just above the Head of the Pass. She was drawing 44 ft and headed upriver this afternoon. Currently she has 5 tugs along side and they haven't made any progress. They may be waiting on the long string of inbound ships though. We had to wait just a little while upon arrival in the anchorage just outside SW Pass before they opened it up to traffic. Currently there are no reports of damage to the hull or as to the cause of her grounding. She also has a bit of a port list which can be seen from the upriver side. They are letting one way traffic by with draft of 35 ft or less.
