"Has anyone done* chief mate classes at Mid Atlantic Maritime Academy ?" They just got*"USCG*approved" recently for management level. They're the only school that I know of with a 4 day "approved" ECDIS class....most are 5days. Don't know much more than that. Might have considered them earlier in the game, but I'm almost finished now.*MAMA should*get business with Star-Center's new union policy. Mitags is filling up classes fast.

Captain Lee its good to see you enjoyed Advanced Nav as much as I did!!!!! And yes it was great getting day rate for going to class and I believe everyone should being that your doing it in your off time to provide the companies with the licenses they require. Well I hope you have taken some driving classes since I last seen you And by the way to everyone Dave Greehouse is a great instructor it is ashame that the changes Star Center have made will affect more oilfield guys like myself from going there. Anchorman,* Mid Atlantic Maritime Academy is an excellent school.* I've been taking classes there for several months now* and the staff has always gone out of their way to help me out.* Facilities are good and they just recently brought their $500K simulator online and have been teaching the upper level classes in it.*
