What's going to be the next big snafu. I think we should start a gCaptain projected verse actual start date pool the player with the closest date gets the prize. At the rate they are going its going to be a while it could be fun.

Naw...it's way too soon to speculate on next year when this year isn't even over yet. With as much time as they'll have Shell should be able to pull it off next go. The only thing is that they'll not make any changes.

What awaits is the fallout from shareholders after the season ends in defeat? When you talk so big and then fail to perform, a lot of confidence from others ends up being squandered along with A LOT of money. I bet a cool billion will be the sum total of this year's boondoggle. Will Slaiby's head be demanded by the shareholders? Will Shell US appease them?

Because last year they didn't loose an effing BILLION dollars! I am growing more and more certain that the figure will end up very close to that by the time all is said and done. Last years failure was nothing compared to this season's. The eyes of the entire energy industry have been focused on Shell's Arctic program now since the beginning of the year.
