KL Sandefjord , has just completed sea trials, where the ship seat a new Bollard pull world record for AHTS.
The Bollard pull record is 430t (390t metric) on the main propellers only. Far Samson has 466 including 3 azimuths, but only 415t on the main propellers only. KL Sandefjord has 36710HP
The vessel is build by STX Langstein in Norway. And is owned by K Line offshore.
K Line Offshore is a subsidiary of the Japanese shipping company Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line).
