The MV Max Chouest was leaving the area S of Cameron yesterday with the Ocean Endeavor in tow.

The Ocean Monarch, and an older rig, Ocean Voyager (which is for sale) were still there.

The Max Chouest just passed me in Halliburton Slip. They said they have been laying idle for over a week. Who ended up towing the O. Endeavor?????

Do not know who towed the Endeavor but found this interesting

    http://www.ods-petrodata.com/odsp/weekly_rig_count.php

In the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, 66 of 122 mobile offshore drilling rigs are under contract this week, a net-one rig decline since last week. U.S. Gulf rig fleet utilization this week is 54.1 percent. Due to the ongoing regulatory situation in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon disaster, only 30 of the U.S. Gulf's 66 contracted rigs are actually working.
