    Post Working in CANADA...?

Is it possible to work in Canada on a USCG license? Is there some kind of crossover? Regardless of the immigration issue, is it possible? Any information would be helpful.

No to sailing on a US license unless you're on a special project setup by the CA Government.

There is no crossover path . .

Sorry to be a wet blanket

    Thank you for your reply.
What are your sources? I'd like to read the laws that state that information.

I believe if you are working on the great lakes for a US company you can trade into Canada.

    Sorry, but no . .

I spent 3 months on Canadian Lakers this year as a training observer, working in conjunction with one of the big Canadian "Laker" training Colleges . . Back in the 60's and early 70's (IIRC) there were some loopholes by which Americans could squeek in due to a shortage of Canadian Mariners, but there are so many Canadians on the beach right now that they've closed all of those long ago.
