Just curious to see what the pay scale is doing. I heard companies are giving raises around the board, I'm an AB in the gulf on a liftboat making $300/ day.. tugs, OSV, ships? What's going on with y'all?

Ok roger that...Is that a a.b limited? Cause it says 270 on website...How is it at edision? How do you get in wheelhouse from an ab limited over there?

I guess they got no time to update that part of website..I friend of mine just told me that they got 30$ raise so, AB OSV making 250$ w/o rigging, AB OSV w/ rigging is 270$ and now plus 30$ raise is 300$....get all trainings required for Mate OSV, 720 Days Seatime and pass the exam and when you got a good character accrding from the Lead Captain then youll be at the wheelhouse....

Well money wise if your only planning to stay in OSV, Mate OSV is enough same as Mate 500 w/ 3000 ITC, then after 480 Sea Days upgrade to Master 1600T....but If you want to go to Mate 1600T, then prepare lots of money coz you will have to take more trainings (same as 3rd mate)... Mate OSV & Mate 1600T Pays the same in my company.
