U.S.-contracted ship fires toward boats in Gulf

Looking at this company's website, Totem Ocean trailer express. My guess. This ship is a RORO. What I"m wondering is when have USNS or contracted ships start carrying weapons and security details on them? <br><br>It was always my understanding they was unarmed vessels. If this is some thing we shouldn't talk about on a open forum I under stand.

Thay've carried armed security details on these ship's since the start of the current debacle while the ships transits the Persian Gulf as a minimum, and often times throughout the entire voyage.
