BENDER Shipbuilding & Repair of Alabama is under Chapter 11
BENDER Shipbuilding & Repair of Alabama is under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, three weeks after a group of creditors launched an attempt to liquidate the company as part of an involuntary bankruptcy.
Bender will now shed some 100 jobs as it attempts to stagger back to its feet in a Chapter 11 reorganisation.
