French battle pirates

The French went in to a yacht that had been being held and saved 4, killed 2 bad guys and captured 3. Unfortunately, one of the hostages was killed in the rescue. They're not sure if the pirates killed him or if the rescuers did.

Man, when the French nut up and fight this trash and we don't...well, we've spent way too much money on way too many sophisicated arms systems and platforms. The technology is cool, but how do we apply it?

I'm afraid the reasons we haven't taken action are political correctness and the color of these peoples' skin. These are the things that are going to be our undoing. Do you think if these pirates were Scots overhauling ships in the North Sea that it would be tolerated?

If we had been politically correct in 1774 we'd be paying our bills in pounds and bowing to the queen. (Some of y'all bow to queens now, but that's another story!)

I just can't believe how we've been rendered helpless by a bunch of rabble.

I think the French get a bad rap. They've got some of the hardest military forces in the world. This isn't the first time they've gone toe to toe with these f*ckers, and it won't be the last.

The French are a traditional ally of ours. They've disagreed politically with us, but there's nothing wrong with that in and of itself. They're just trying to remain independent of the U.S.'s near total domination in world affairs. I think if you look at the facts, when push comes to shove, they're in our corner, and we'll probably always be in theirs.

The oft stated "If it wasn't for us, they'd be speaking German now" can be countered with "If it wasn't for the French, we'd be speaking Cherokee"...

For those that know your WW2 history, a free french regiment was in the right place, at the right time, and prevented a german breakout in the fighting around Monte Casino...

The one thing that bugged me is that French "Coalition warship 701" called me EVERY single day while I was in mod-loc in the gulf of arabia, at the same time... Um, don't you guys remember me from yesterday?
