BP Sells 4 Gulf of Mexico Fields to Pay For Oil Spill-MARITIME LAWYER NEWS
On Monday, October 25, 2010 British Petroleum PLC (BP) announced the sale of its stake in four of its Gulf of Mexico oil and gas fields to Marubeni Oil and Gas for $650 million. The latest sale of Gulf assets is part of an effort by BP to raise $30 billion to help pay for the catastrophic oil spill caused by the Deepwater Horizon disaster in April, 2010. Read more.
