    Default Online USCG licensing courses by Mariners reputable?

    Are online USCG licensing courses by Mariners reputable? tinyurl.com/7ua4ej4 Looking to get Siz-Pack + Masters + Towing in Central Gulf Coast, FL but work schedule does not allow me to attend classroom schools.

    Any of these courses that allow you to take the license exam at the school and just send in your application to the CG INSTEAD of taking the exam at the CG MUST be CG approved. So it doesn't matter which place you attend. But, if you have to take the course and then go to the CG for the exam why bother. Go to one of the schools that does the whole thing.

    BTW. You are looking for a sixpak, and ASSISTANCE TOWING endorsement . This requires about a year of seatime to be able to qualify.

    A mate/master of towing is WAY more than a class. It's years experience, lots of classes, and about 2 years training.

    Make sure you know what you are trying to apply for. It's amazing what the difference in two words can mean.

    These guys offer Coast Guard approved courses. They have agreements with locations all over the US (including our own) for administering the exams, all with CG approval.

    Very true. With any school, you have to know exactly what you are looking for and make sure they have it! A few word matches won't cut it!~
