New to forum 1600 MOTV NC

Hey guys,I have been a commercial fisherman my whole life but over the years when fishing was slow have been mate on osv,s and tugs.although much more osv than tugs.have decided to quit fishing and want to find a decent job preferably out of the gulf which means probably tugs east or west coast.i have a total of about a year as mate on tugs and looking for any suggestions on who to talk to.im as good a boat handler as anyone but need a situation where I can be shown how to operate the tow winch ,making up to the barge etc and. Not get thrown to the wolves.ps live in tx
