Re: west coast job market
Yeah, but don't you have to spend the whole summer on the Yukon and Kuskokwim? Do they give any time off during the season or is it one straight slog with a big paycheck at the end? Btw, there is also Brice and Northland Services.

Not that I am looking...I doubt I could ever afford to return to Alaska unless it was in the offshore Arctic and Noble can have its clown circus up there. I wonder if they'll get anything accomplished in the Chukchi this year. Can't say that I am very impressed with the DISCO...a floating junk pile that wouldn't qualify to drill in Bangladesh unless it spudded in on a beach to be scrapped. What an antiquated hermaphrodite piece of shit that vessel is. How can Shell justify the millions and millions they front to Noble to keep that heap still around when they just built two ships supposedly to work in the Arctic? Effing fools, all of them!
yeah I know, all you people saying I'm just all sour grapes but that marriage of Shell and Noble is really way too codependent and in need of some major intervention. I cannot resist getting out my stick now and getting its tip the pointiest it can be just like a big needle.

Brody: You're certifiable, Quint! You know that?
Quint: Yeah, yeah, yeah...
