They have a very extensive physical.
So after a long search for a job in the offshore/DP industry I am flying down to interview for a mate position with Hornbeck. Does anyone have any advice for interviewing with them. Thanks everyone that helped in my search
They have a very extensive physical.
Congratulate them on their recently announced $720m newbuild program ie read up on what's going on within the company. Btw today they announced the construction contracts are going to VT Halter Marine, Inc. and Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc.. Eight vessels each.
Good luck!

They really didnʻt ask much the just reviewed my resumes. As far as attire goes i wore a suit but there were other people there that had worn out work gear on... I have heard pretty much if you are asked to come down for an interview then you are hired that seemed to be the case for all of us. They are terribly undercrewed right now so you are in a good bargaining position. Good luck!!
Thanks for the info! Sounds encouraging. Hopefully I will see you out there.
Wear your B-Day suit.
