The Queen of Seattle, a steam powered paddle wheeler, is seeking a "first assistant engineer with a steam endorsemnent" for our private charter and sightseeing excursions. The vessel has 4 decks, and a capacity of 275 passengers. Our operations will be primarily in Lake Union, Lake Washington and the Ship Canal. We will operate for private charters year-round and daily narrated sightseeing excursions May through September. Our engineering plant includes 2 Clayton steam generators, a Detroit and Fairbanks Morris generator and a Duetz emergency generator, 2 steam engines with pitman arms and a full support group of auxilary equipment. Full time mid May through September and on call for charter events year-round. |
