Congrats @black93fox on getting the call it seems like your stuff is moving along quickly compared to other people I have talked to that got selected for the OS position. I guess ima have to wait until SU opens up to get on with MSC.

hmmm i had a buddy(went to Bluewater maritime school together) of mine who for what i think struck out on the OS deck spot from last october, i told him i knew that SU was opening up the 6th and to get his app together, so as soon as SU posted to the website the 6th he had his App in the mail, trying to help him out but cant for much longer i fly out to NEO norfolk this sunday, so after this he is on his own, hope u both get lucky wait a month and give them a call, if they like ya they will be phoning you soon to let u know youve been picked, w/o no medical issues they want corrected after the call u should be flying to neo in about 4 months.

Takes 4 months after your physical to get to neo!? Did my physical last week an got the call at the beginning of the month then the next week had my drug test. Thought they were moving somewhat fast.

MSC unlicenced doesn't wear uniforms, per se. Deck dept wears blue jeans and blue collared shirts. They particularly prefer chambray. I see in their propaganda brochures that they are also all wearing blue poopy suits. Officers wear khackies.
