    I have someone looking for a captain asap for one of thier tuna boats in the S. Pacific. You don;t need to know anything about fishing. If you're interested, post your contact info here (phone #) and I will contact you with more info.

    Thanks for the post. Highly interested as I believe I heard about this while delivering a crew boat to Rio last week.
    I fit the description 1600/Oceans master and 3 months out a a decent wage is OK by me.

    FUNCTION
    The Captain manages overall safe operation of the vessel.

    B. Liaison between the Marine Department and other casino departments ensuring that all employees have knowledge of USCG regulations to ensure the vessel stays in compliance with federal regulations.
    C. Knowledge of internal controls to ensure Marine Department complies with state regulations.
    D. Schedule training drills for marine crew and casino employees to comply with vessels Emergency Station Bill.
    E. Set up and oversee all repairs to the vessel through outside vendors.
    F. Institute and follow up on maintenance and in-house repair programs.
    G. Oversee all paperwork and training programs required by the company, state, and USCG officials.
    H. Other duties as assigned.
    METHODS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
    A. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to operations of the ship.
    B. Through various oral and written reports to the Director of Property Management.
    C. Through achievement of performance goals.
    STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
    A. Individual Proficiencies
    1. Management abilities demonstrated in commanding the ship.
    2. Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
    3. Oral and written skills.
    4. Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the operations of the ship.
    B. Job Performance
    1. Obtainment of established budget and other performance goals.
    2. Effective managing of crew.

    3. Timeless and accuracy in completing assigned duties paperwork and reports.

    Sorry I have not been around here much lately- that company is always looking for captains. They have one for the moment but who knows how long he will last and he will need a relief anyway around 2 months from now. Read the posts like they said re:the Majestic Blue.
