Major Cat 3 Hurricane Jove continues to move northeast at 4kts across the shipping lanes between
The PCZ and the North Pacific. Max winds are at 110kts but hurricane force winds extend outwardonly 15nm and storm force (50kt+) winds extend out about 40nm from the center.

Latest update on Hurricane Jove


Hurricane Jove weakened somewhat since yesterday but remains a fairly strong hurricane with max winds to 100kts. Jove will be very near or possibly at major hurricane strength at landfall along the Mexican coast this evening or tonight. Hurricane force winds extend outward only 15nm from the center and storm force (50kt+) winds extend outward only 35-40nm.
