    Default East Pacific Hurricane Felicia

Hurricane Felicia is now packing winds near 120 knots (140mph) and is a cat. 4 hurricane. Presently Felicia is moving towards the northwest at 9kts with hurricane force winds extending outward 25-35 nm from the center and storm force (50Kt) winds outward some 45-60 nm.

The bad news is that Felicia is forecast to turn more westward on a track that may take it over Hawaii but the good news is that it is now moving over colder sea water which should weaken Felicia to under tropical storm strength before reaching Hawaii.
