Dangerous North Pacific Storm
A veryintense and dangerous hurricane force storm low is forecast to develop rapidlyover the western North Pacific during the next 36-48 hours

OH MY! That one is truly EVIL!
and headed right towards the Bering Sea. I wonder how deep it will become before it bottoms out? Any ideas Fred?

the lowest I ever experienced in the Bering Sea was 942mb in a 1989 storm and we had gusts over 122kts. Thankfully we waited it out in Dutch but if I remember there were a couple boats fishing Opies that didn't come back. Anybody else remember that one?
This one looks way worse!

Looks this AM that the eastern Bering Sea will spared now and that the worst of this monster will go to the Russian side
