My cousin called me about this ship... he thought it was sinking too... not knowing what he was seeing I suggested he call the USCG... ooops

For those interested in how they salvaged the Mighty Servant 3 after she sunk (for real) picking up a Global SantaFe rig in africa, I just found this:


"The ‘Mighty Servant 3’ was salvaged by means of sheerlegs ‘Taklift 7’
and by pressurizing the various compartments with compressed air.
Initially the bow was refloated and stabilized. Subsequently the stern
was lifted. Ultimately the vessel was fully dewatered and successfully
redelivered to the owners on 26 May 2007."
