DWH thread showing "data base error" and no new posts?

DWH thread showing "data base error" and no new posts? Thread appears dead today, and while trying to post twice I received "data base error"... this is sort of a test on this thread to see if it is forum wide or just the DWH thread: Deepwater Horizon - Transocean Oil Rig Fire

This is a reply to your test....same thing, Database Error. If I re-submit it, I'll bet it will finally go through.

Edit: So it looks like here in this thread, even though I got Database Error, the first reply went through and when I replied again, this one went through as well.
I'm thoroughly confused, but something's obviously broken.

Off & on all day yesterday, I kept getting a page that appeared to be a GCaptain official message that said something to the effect that the site/ forum/ whatever was being "upgraded". It seemed to help if I cleared cookies & my cache, so I thought it might be my computer. :-( Guess not.
Very frustrating to see replies posted on the DWH thread & be stuck on page 174. I guess the marine weather thread might be affected too because that one hadn't updated (apparently- dates/ times are crazy for me even though I'm set to CDT) since day before yesterday...that can't be right. Has anyone checked to see if it is all the threads or just DWH/ GOM related ones? (You didn't break it, TV. It looks like a hack to me. but WDIK)

Test, test, test... There's now a DWH-2 thread, it has replies in it but on the forum "table of contents" page it says there are 0 replies. Also I get database errors when posting to that thread, hence the test post here to see what happens.

He was kind enough to get back to me and say the administrator(s) know of the problem and are working on fixing it... "it should be fixed shortly." he said. Here is hoping!
