    I AM LOOKING FOR THE STCW CODES FOR PERU LIKE II/3.II/4.VI/1.VI/2 ( I NEED TO FIND OUT IF THERE THE SAME IN PERU ) IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP PLEASE,I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER THE INTERNET BUT I CANT FIND NOTHING
    Capacity Area Limitation TonnageLimitation STCW95 Regulation
    OOW near-coastal less than 500 gt II/3
    none none II/1
    Chief mate near-coastal lessthan 3,000 gt II/2

    The STCW codes are uniform throughout the world as they all come from the same source.

    Yes i understand this but the thing is i need prof of this . As the coast guard here in peru do not understand to well . When i went to the peru coast guard i asked them if its ok to use my s.t.c.w here in peru .thay said we don’t know we have to see if the regs are the same ,i know there the same but i need it in black and whight to show them . These people are not to smart here

    That is a TOTALLY different question from what you asked. Using STCW training you received in one country in another country is totally up to the country you are trying to get to accept it. You are completely at their mercy.

    If your STCW COC was issued by a "white list" country it should be accepted by all the other "white listed " countries signatory to STCW.

    There is only one STCW. What fdo you mean by "OK to use my STCW..."? Are you asking if you can sail on a Peruvian vessel with a US STCW certificate? The answer is no, you need a document issued by Peru. If you are asking if thery Peruvians will accept your STCW training to get a Peruvian document, the answer is that it depends on what Peru's policy is (the US does not accept foreign training).

    You would still require a document "endorsed" by the flag of the vessel you are serving on.
