I started since last October to film all the cruises ships that visit my city's port. I am from Piraeus, Greece most of you may have seen some of my videos

I hope the admins will not consider it as spam because I think that here is the best place to post them.If no ,delete the thread

Some words about Piraeus

Piraeus Port is the largest Greek Port and is divided in 3 parts.The ferry and cruise terminal is in the central port which is a natural port .The port is in the present situation since 1908 which the last enlargment took part.Until 1995 the half of the port was also a cargo and container terminal.Apart from this a container terminal exists in the neighbour city of Keratsini since 1970.It's very near the Drapetsona port where many ferries and cruise ships stay during the winter.In the city of Piraeus there are 3 yachts marinas one in Pasalimani,one in Mikrolimano and the other near Phaleron .As municipality ,Piraeus exists since 1835 ,but from the ancient years until the first East Roman empire years ,it was one of the most important ports in Mediterranean.After 1821,when the Greek Independence war took place ,Piraeus has become one of the busiest ports in Mediterranean Sea.

Blech...I don't care much for cruiseships. Too many bloody passengers and on top of that they're all so old as well. They can be so...you know...old with all their ailments & they smell funny too!

I think it's supposed to be the ALLURE of the SEAS but who cares? I see what must be a thousand men with no shirts on and not a woman in sight. There's even a few "captain's hats" visible!

Yes sir I have the "Cunard Countess" back in the middle nineties, before the ship was sold to Awani. It was on a Miami, San Juan, Grenada run. It is now owned by Carnival.
