This summer I had the opportunity to take a day trip to the wonderful Capital city of Tallinn, Estonia. While I have been to the city many times before, this was the first time that I went inside the Estonian Maritime Museum. And I am glad that I did.
The museum has a section dedicated to the sinking of the MS ESTONIA
This next photo unfortunately does not do the atmosphere of the museum justice (Click here for the full size image). In the top left of the photo you can see a vessel bridge that was transplanted into the museum.
Finally, if you do make it to the museum, be sure to head up to the roof for a look around.
Just outside the museum is the memorial to the MS ESTONIA sinking.
The children in the photo are walking on one part of the broken line memorial.

Unfortunately you have been only in one part of the museum, there is 3 parts more to go :-) , especially interesting is the new Seaplane harbour, you can find more info here: http://www.meremuuseum.ee/?setlang=eng
Yes, I noticed that when I went to link to the museum’s website. I have been onboard the museum’s icebreaker as it made a trip to Helsinki harbor a couple years ago. I highly recommend taking a tour of that vessel if one ever gets the opportunity to do so!
