gCaptain reader Andrew Mackinnon sends us the following image today from Port Phillip, Australia of the Boskalis-Dockwise heavy lift vessel Blue Marlin, carrying Australia’s newest, yet incomplete, Canberra-class landing helicopter dock, LHDS Adelaide. She arrived from Navantia Shipyard in Spain and is to be completed by BAE Systems Australia located at Williamstown, Victoria.
This vessel is the sistership to the LHDS Canberra which arrived at the shipyard in 2012. The following is a time-lapse video depicting her arrival in 2012:
