My captain loved durian fruit which smells like the bosun’s underarm. When you acted stupidthe ol man would ‘invite’ you to his office and offer you some fruit to help -his words- “digest what I’m about to tell you”.

I ain’t shitting when I say it took a week of scrubbing to wash off that stink.

Fred,

They sure are changing! We just got our new environmental tracking sheet and it includes EVERYTHING. For example if you use a CO2 extinguisher during a drill you have to weigh it afterward to record the amount discharged!

It’s mostly for the good except for the time they woke everyone up for a “safety shutdown” and the night crane fell asleep at the controls later that night!
