Iranian Ship Linked to Houthi Attacks Heads Home Amid Tensions

The company announced today plans to establish a subsidiary called Deltamarin Floating Construction Ltd that will focus on delivering engineering, procurement, construction and installation solutions for the marine and offshore industry on turnkey basis.
Deltamarin is using it’s in-house technical expertise coupled with the contract management and project financing offered by 80% stakeholder AVIC Group, a Singapore listed firm that also includes shipbuilding, ship trading, marine finance and project management services.
“As an independent main contractor we are not bound to offer solutions based on what we are manufacturing, or where we are located. All projects are based on the customer’s needs, best technology, partners and practises, optimal project execution strategy and cost efficient construction anywhere in the world,” says Mr. Rami Hirsimäki, the recently appointed Managing Director of Deltamarin Floating Construction Ltd.
Mr. Hirsimäki has been working at Deltamarin since 2001 in various management positions, e.g. he has been responsible for Deltamarin business development in Asia and most recently has acted as Director for the company’s Offshore Oil & Gas business.
“We are creating a globally unique EPC main contractor business model within the maritime industry, which means that we need to recruit new experts and talents to strengthen our organization fit for international turnkey projects,”Mr. Hirsimäki adds.
