Sister vessel to the Island Performer, the Island Constructor was built in 2008 by Ulstein Verft for Island Offshore and is an offshore construction and well intervention vessel.  The following video shows how she was pieced together at the shipyard in Ulsteinvik.

The main activities of this vessel are Well Intervention Services with Subsea Lubricator System (LWI), subsea construction and equipment installation (OCV), Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) and ROV services.

This DP-3 equipped vessel has a Rolls-Royce diesel-electric power plant serving two main azimuth thrusters, two retractable thrusters and two side thrusters.

See images of the Island Performer during our visit to Ulstein this past June.
