Atlantic Offshore Says Goodbye to the MRV Ocean Searcher

After 37 years of hard labor, Atlantic Offshore’s Ocean Searcher, a multi-role offshore vessel (MRV) acquired by the company in 1976 will soon be heading to a scrapyard in Denmark for recycling.

Atlantic Offshore notes that she will be replaced by the Ocean Osprey which was recently built at Zamakona shipyard and is now under long term contract for Shell UK/ Dana Petroleum at the Gannet field.
