gCaptain sources have reported this morning that S/V Quest has been attacked by pirates in the Indian Ocean, and her crew of 4 Americans are currently being held hostage.
Quest is a Davidson 58 pilot house sloop owned by Jean and Scott Adam, a couple who are 7 years into their round-the-world journey from California. Their SPOT beacon currently indicates their position to be in India, however that last updated position appears to indicate their last port of call. They were enroute from India to Mina Raysut, the industrial port of Salalah, Oman when they were hijacked.
