Employment is currently higher than it&#039;s been since 1994.  Who says that &quot;a few remain profitable&quot;?  GD and HII are clearly the most profitable shipbuilders in the world and most of the other 350 or so active US shipyards are privately held, so how would you know if they are profitable or not?  And if you want to see shipyards expanding, you don&#039;t have to go to San Diego: there are shipyards expanding all along the Gulf Coast, and up the river system.  Good grief!  Don&#039;t write about things you apparently don&#039;t know anything about!]]></description>
