Nor-Shipping 2009
Being held this week in Oslo, Norway is one of the biggest and most anticipated conferences of the year for the maritime industry, Nor-Shipping. This year marks the 22nd year of the show and over the years it has grown so large that the event has expanded to six halls with a record number exhibitors, about 1050 from 48 countries.
Along with the exhibition floor, each day of the show has a different theme with a range of guests speakers speaking on the fight against climate change, how to succeed in todays markets, marine electronics and communications, the current shipping crisis and new technologies for the next gneration OSV’s. Unfortunately gCaptain was not able to make it this year, but the Nor-Shipping2009 website is doing a great job at providing coverage of this years events, including videos.
