Thanks for this good full episode.
Watched on TV last nite….FACINATING!
Insightful, have not seen this on British TV yet.
What is the matter with US documentaries? It's like watching Sesame street. Everything is repeated. Everything is presented like there are only children watching. It was not enough to just present us with an animation showing how the boat would be turned over on the platform. We have to watch the reporter demonstrating the same process with her arms… *sigh*
And what's with presenting everything as the largest, biggest, most expensive, and what-not, when everyone with just a hint of brain know that they are exaggerating.
Why not just say it is a very expensive and complex salvage operation?
What about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Azorian? 400 million USD versus 3.8 billion USD? 0 meter depth against 4,800 meters? Seems to me that this operation is fairly straight forward. It just requires a lot of material and some small challenges.
@Erlend ‘dumbed down’ and throwing around gee whiz words like largest, biggest, etc, for a ignorant audience.
Repeptitive in order to aid in attracting the channel surfers interest after they come in mid-stream.
